Important Matters: It is prohibited to perform all types of prayers at sunrise and 15 minutes after that, 10 minutes after noon, and 5 minutes before it, and 15 minutes after sunset.
Allah Almighty has made prayer special due to its time. Every prayer has a fixed time. It is obligatory to perform each prayer at its fixed time. Performing one prayer at the time of another without an acceptable excuse is a major sin.
Whoever sits after the fajr prayer and does not speak anything beyond good, then prays two rak’ahs of Ishraq, his sins will be forgiven.
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever prays six rak’ahs after Maghrib without speaking anything evil during them will have a reward equal to twelve years of worship.'
