sahri
1801 Adam Ibn Abu Yas (R.A.) ... Narrated by Hazrat Anas Ibn Malik (R.A.), He said: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Eat Sehri and fast. Because there are rewards and blessings in eating Sehri.
Al-Jami's Sahih - Imam Bukhari (RA) (Sahih Bukhari)

Explanation of hadith:
Sahri is the food that is taken in the morning before Sadiq for the purpose of fasting. Eating Sahri is Sunnah. It is not necessary to eat a full stomach at Sahri; This Sunnah can be performed even by drinking one or two sips of water.
Sahri is blessed
The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
You take care. Because Sahri food has blessings. Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 1923, Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1095
So sahri food gives strength to fast. Likewise, Khair and Barakat and virtue and welfare are also implied in it.
Allah's mercy is showered on those who take Sahri
There is another hadith
There is blessing in eating Sahri. Therefore do not leave it; Take Sahri even after drinking a sip of water. Because Allah showers mercy on those who eat sahri and the angels keep praying for them. Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 11086, 11396
Sahri: A feature of our fasting
We have already mentioned that fasting is not the first for this Ummah; Fasting was also prescribed for the previous Ummah. But Sahri is a special line of difference between our fast and the fast of Ahl al-Kitab. The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
The difference between our fast and the fast of the People of the Book is eating Sahri. Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1096
In other words, the importance and virtue of eating Sahri during our fast is not there. To us, doing Sahri is a unique act and a great reward.
It is better to take Sahri last time
Just as it is mustahab to do Sahri, it is also better to do it at the end of the time. That is, it is better to do Sahri at the pre-closer time of Subhe Sadiq keeping the precautionary time in hand. The Prophet said:
We Prophets have been commanded to break the fast as soon as it is time and take the Sahri at the last time. Almuzamul Awasat, Tabarani, Hadith 1884; Majmawz Ghawayd, Hadith 4880
The period of Sahaba Keram was also like this. Hazrat Amr Ibn Maimun Al-Awdi. said
The Companions used to fast iftar as soon as it was time and had sahri at the last time. Musannaf Abdur Razaq, narration 7591; Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaiba, narration 8932
2421 On the authority of Qutayba Ibn Sa'id (RA) ... Amr Ibn As (RA). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, The difference between our fasting and those of the people of the Book is eating Sehri.
Al Musnadus Sahih - Imam Muslim (Sahih Muslim)
Hadith No: 2421 International No: 1096 - 1

Narrated by: Amr Ibnul As (R.A.) (Died: 42/43 Hijri)
Eating Sahri is Sunnah. It is not necessary to eat a full stomach, even if you drink a mouthful of water, the Sunnah of Sahri will be fulfilled. Eating Sahri during Ramadan is an important act of worship. Eating and drinking at the end of the night or in the morning before Sadiq is called Sahri.
The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, called it Sunnah to eat Sahri with the intention of fasting, and it is Mustahab to take Sahri late. However, it is makruh to delay so much that in the morning there is a danger of becoming righteous.
