exclusionary act
Just as there are many things to do while fasting, there are also many things to avoid. For example:
1. Lying and Unrighteousness: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "Whoever fasts and does not abstain from lying and unrighteousness, his hunger and thirst have no value in the sight of Allah."
2. Guarding of speech: One should not speak anything useless while fasting. You can't insult others. Obscenity must be avoided Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said that fasting is a shield (from Hellfire). So if one is fasting then he should not speak obscene words or obscene words, should not indulge in sin. If someone abuses you then tell him brother I am fasting.
So it is obligatory for every believer to turn off the television especially in honor of the month of Ramadan.
3. Fasting the whole body: In the state of fasting, the whole body including hands, feet, ears should be done in such a way that it fasts, i.e. in such a way that it does not happen that both fasting and non-fasting are at the same time. Every organ should be protected from sin by abstaining from watching television, listening to plays, reading books of stories and novels, etc. May Allah bless us all.
Hadith:
1773 'Abdullah Ibn Maslama (RA) ... on the authority of Abu Huraira (RA), the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Fasting is like a shield. So don't profanity and don't act like a fool. If anyone wants to quarrel with him, abuse him, let him say twice, I am fasting. By the One in Whose hand is my life, surely the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk, who forsakes food, drink and lust for me. Fasting is for me. So I will donate its reward myself. And every good deed is rewarded tenfold.
Al-Jami's Sahih - Imam Bukhari (RA) (Sahih Bukhari)
Hadith No: 1773 International No: 1894
Tahqiq: Tahqiq is unnecessary
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (RA) (died: 57/58/59 Hijri)
Explanation of hadith:
Fasting is a protective shield and fortress from hell
Hazrat Jabir RA. It was narrated that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
Our great Lord said - Fasting is a shield. By this the servant will save himself from the fire of Hell. Fasting is for Me and I will reward it. Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 14669; Shuabul Iman Baihaqi, Hadith 3570
Hazrat Abu Huraira RA. It was narrated that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
الصِّيَامُ جُنّةٌ, وَحِصْنٌ حَصِينٌ مِنَ النّارِ.
Fasting is a shield (of salvation from hell) and a fortified fortress. Musnad Ahmad, Hadith-9225; Shuabul Iman, Baihaqi, Hadith 3571
The smell of a fasting person's mouth is more fragrant than that of a perfume
Allah Ta'ala has evaluated the stench in the mouth due to fasting in an unimaginable way. He said that the stench caused by starvation is more fragrant than incense to him and he blessed the fasting people who were intoxicated with his love.
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said - 'Surely, the smell of the mouth during fasting is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk.' - Sahih Bukhari Hadith, 1904
It should be noted here that in the narrated hadith, stench refers to the smell that arises from inside the stomach due to abstinence from eating and drinking. Bad breath caused by keeping the teeth and mouth unclean is not the point here. So the fasting person must be aware of keeping his teeth and mouth clean.
Fasting will be rewarded by Allah Rabbul Alamin Himself and He will give it without reckoning:
Every good deed has its prescribed reward and reward, through which Allah will reward the doer. But the issue of fasting is completely different. Hazrat Abu Huraira RA. Narrated from: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said,
The reward of every deed of man is increased. The reward of a good deed is from ten times to twenty seven times. Allah Ta'ala instructs, but fasting is different. Because it is only for me and I myself will pay for it. Servant has controlled his instincts and given up drinking for Me alone. Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1151 (164); Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 9714; Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaiba, Hadith 8987; Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith 1638
# Al Kawsar
Being a shield means that just as people protect themselves with a shield, they also protect themselves from their enemies, i.e. Satan, by fasting. According to a tradition, fasting saves from Allah's punishment. According to a tradition, fasting protects from Allah's punishment. According to another tradition, fasting saves from hell. It is narrated in a tradition that someone requested, O Messenger of Allah! Fasting is broken by any thing? He is formal, by lies and backbiting. In the above two traditions and various other such traditions, there is an urge to avoid such acts while fasting and these acts are considered as breaking the fast. In this day and age, fasting is considered a way to pass the time. According to some scholars, the fast is broken by lying and backbiting. These two things are like food and other things that break the fast according to these scholars. And according to most of the scholars, although the fast is not broken, but the blessing of the fast is lost. Mashaikhs have written six manners of fasting. It is important for a fasting person to pay attention to these things.
No. 1 to guard the vision. So that there is no need to look at. Do not even look at your wife with lust. So the question of a foreign woman does not arise. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The sight is one of the arrows of the Devil." Whoever does that out of fear of Allah, the sweetness and taste of which he will feel in his heart. Sufiyyah Keram explains 'gazing at the wrong' as including looking at anything that turns the heart away from Allah Ta'ala and attracts it to something else.
Protecting the 2nd statement. It includes lying, backbiting, idle talk, backbiting, obscene talk, quarrels, etc. In the narration of Bukhari Sharif, fasting is a blessing for people. Therefore, the fasting person should not use his speech to do any obscene or stupid things such as jokes, jokes, quarrels, etc. If someone comes to quarrel, he will say that I am fasting. In other words, even if someone starts a quarrel with Bariya, he will not engage in a quarrel with him. If the person is intelligent, he will tell him that I am fasting. And if the person is stupid and stupid, then he will explain to his heart that you are fasting; You should not answer all these idle talk. It is especially important to avoid backbiting and lying. Because according to many scholars, the fast is broken by this. As mentioned earlier. Two women were fasting during the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him). During the fast, they felt such intense hunger that they could not bear the limit and their lives were on the verge of perishing. When the Companions (RA) informed the Prophet (PBUH), he sent a cup to them and asked both of them to vomit in it. When both of them vomited, it was found that pieces of flesh and fresh blood came out with it. When the people were surprised, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "They were fasting with the halal sustenance given by Allah; But later he ate forbidden things. In other words, both women were idle in gossiping about people. One more thing is known from this hadith that because of backbiting, the pain of fasting is felt very much. As these two women died due to fasting. The condition of other sins is exactly the same. It is also proved by experience that the hardships of fasting do not have the slightest effect on God-fearing people. Fasek people, on the other hand, are often seen in a bad state. Therefore, if someone wants that he does not feel the pain of fasting, then the best way for him is to stay away from all sins while fasting; Especially from the sin of backbiting, which people consider a way of passing the time while fasting. In the Holy Qur'an, Allah Ta'ala has called backbiting as the flesh of his dead brother. Many such incidents have also been described in Hadith Sharif. By which it is clearly understood that the one who is slandered is actually eaten. Once the Prophet saw a number of people and commanded Ershad, "Greet your teeth." They requested, we did not eat meat today. Huzoor sallallahu alayhi wasallam said to Ershad, the flesh of such and such a person is stuck in your teeth. Later it was known that they had slandered that person. May Allah protect us all. Because, in this matter we are very careless and indifferent. The common man is far from it; but all are indulging in it. Apart from those who are called worldly, even those who are considered to be religious, their Majlis are generally rarely free from gossip. More surprisingly,Most people don't think of it as backbiting. If you or someone else feels a bit uneasy, then you try to suppress it by saying 'I am calling it a real incident'. Someone asked the Prophet, peace be upon him, what is backbiting? He said, slander is to say things behind someone's back which is displeasing to him. The man asked what would happen if he actually had this in him. Huzoor sallallahu alayhi wasallam said, only then will it be slander. And if the matter is not really in it, then it is a false slander. Once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went near two graves and Ershad said, "The inhabitants of these two graves are being punished." One because he slandered Manu. Another was not careful to urinate. Huzoor, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "There are more than seventy levels of usury." The lowest and mildest of these is tantamount to having sex with one's mother. And one gerham of usury is more deadly than knowledge thirty-five times. And the worst and most abominable usury is to spoil the dignity of a Muslim. In the Hadith Sharif, there are stricter threats against backbiting and destroying the honor of Muslims. I wanted to collect some of these traditions here. Because our majlis are too full of these things. But since the subject of the present discussion is different, I will end here. May Allah save us all from this calamity. Protect me, especially the sinners, thanks to the prayers of elders and friends. Because I have been suffering from stomach ailments. Our majlis are very full of these things. But since the subject of the present discussion is different, I will end here. May Allah save us all from this calamity. Protect me, especially the sinners, thanks to the prayers of elders and friends. Because I have been suffering from stomach ailments. Our majlis are very full of these things. But since the topic of the present discussion is different, I will end here. May Allah save us all from this calamity. Protect me, especially the sinners, thanks to the prayers of elders and friends. Because I have been suffering from stomach ailments.
That is, O Allah! Arrogance, self-righteousness, ignorance, indifference, envy, malice, ill opinion of others, falsehood, falsehood, hypocrisy, obstinacy, backbiting and slander are no diseases that are not in me. O Allah! Heal me from all diseases and fulfill my needs. My heart is sick; You heal him. The 3rd thing that is important for the fasting person to pay attention to is the protection of the ears. It is also forbidden to pay attention to every unpleasant matter which is not allowed to be spoken or uttered. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, both the backbiter and the backbiter share in the sin. The 4th thing is to protect other parts of the body. For example, to prevent the hand from touching the forbidden object, the feet from going towards the forbidden object. Similarly prevent other parts of the body. Thus protecting the stomach from suspicious food during Iftar. The condition of a person who fasts and breaks his fast with Haram food is like that of a person for whom medicine will be useful for any disease but this poison will destroy him at the same time. 5th thing is not to eat so much of Halal food during Iftar, which fills the stomach completely. Because, in this, the purpose of fasting is lost. The purpose of fasting is to weaken the sensual and animal energy and to increase the spiritual and angelic energy. A lot has been eaten up to eleven months; Now if a month is reduced a little, then will the life go out? But our condition is that we eat so much during Iftar with the back Qaza and during Sehri with the front Agrim that we do not have the opportunity to eat this much without Ramadan and without fasting; May Ramadhanul Mubarak become a feast for us. Imam Ghazali (RA) has written that if a person eats more during Iftar and wears the amount of damage, then how can it be achieved for the purpose of fasting, i.e. suppressing the desires of the soul and the power of Satan! In fact, we don't just change the meal times. Instead, we increased the various posts of Khana, which is not easily done in other months. People's habits have become such that good things are kept for time. And when the soul finds these after being hungry all day, it eats with great satisfaction. As a result, instead of being weakened, the libido becomes more excited and becomes more vigorous. In this way, the purpose of fasting is reversed. All the purposes and benefits that the Shariah has placed in fasting can only be achieved when one is also somewhat hungry. The great benefit is what has been said above. That is to suppress lust and animal instincts. And it also depends on being hungry at times. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Satan travels through the veins of people. You stop its movement by hunger. When the soul is hungry, all the organs are satisfied. On the other hand, when the soul is satisfied, all the organs are hungry. The second purpose of fasting is to maintain harmony with the poor and afflicted and feel their plight. This objective can be achieved only when the stomach is not filled so much with milk during Sehri thatDo not feel hungry till evening. Conformity and harmony with the poor will only happen when you are hungry for some time and suffer the pain of hunger. A person came to Bishre Hafi (RA) and found that he was shivering in the cold. But he had winter clothes. The man asked, is it time to take off the clothes? He said, there are many poor people, I don't have the strength to help them. At least I can express this sympathy that I become one like them. The Sufi Mashaikhs have widely warned against this. The jurists have also spoken clearly about this. The author of the book 'Marakil Falah' writes, do not eat so much in Sehri as those who indulge in luxury eat. Because it destroys the purpose of fasting. Allama Tahtabi (RA) has written in its explanation that the purpose of fasting here is to feel the pain of hunger, which leads to greater reward and compassion for the poor and needy. The Prophet himself, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, said, "A few lokmai are enough for a man to keep his waist straight." And if a person wants to eat, it should not be more than this that one third of the stomach should be kept for food, another part for water, and another part should be kept empty. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to fast for a few days at a time and did not eat anything in between. It must have some significance.
